About the author
Knowing history means understanding the world we live in: our languages, our laws, our cities. Almost everything around us has roots older than they seem. History does not repeat itself exactly, but it often rhymes.
I started this book thinking of my son, wondering how to read him something we would both enjoy. I hope you find here an excuse to share, to wonder, and to learn.
Today's world and artificial intelligence tools opened a door for me to develop something that resonated with my passion for history and with the experience of becoming a father for the first time. AI has allowed me to generate the illustrations under my creative direction. It has not been as simple as I expected: you need to write good prompts and have a very clear vision of what you want to show, so that the AI can capture what you had in mind. It is almost like working with a real illustrator, but with the ability to make hundreds of iterations in just a few minutes. In the future I would love to work with a real illustrator, who can bring the creative and unique perspective that only a person can offer.
